KUALA LUMPUR: The import licence (AP) requirement for 13 tariff lines involving magnetic tape recorders and sound recording apparatus has been abolished from Sunday.

“The removal of import licensing is the Government’s effort to liberalise the economy.

The products include sound recording or reproducing apparatus, discs, tapes and solid-state non-volatile storage devices....
